The 20th century is the most revolutionary era in modern day technology. Although the Industrial Revolutions started much earlier, but in this century the face of the earth really changed, with in a span of decades.
The advent of computer is certainly the biggest invention of this era which lead opened the doors for many new inventions and research. The last decade of the 20th century is crucial as the developments that took place in this last decade were enormous.

The biggest issue of course is pollution! Yet we are still working out ways to tackle this problem and hopefully there will be a solution as we only have this only planet to survive.
